Explore the black abyss

Blood Void Mass can be played with a mouse or a keyboard. The settings and feeding routines are first tough to learn, but once you do, you'll be able to feed your spike in no time. The high-contrast photos create an ominous mood as you travel out deeper to collect blood. Your concern for the horror will increase as you struggle to return in time with enough blood to keep your spike tree alive. 

You'll first see the back of a horse, which you may control to gallop across a dark void in whichever direction you like. A massive purple mass is swirling over you. When a shot is fired into the crowd, it pours blood. The blood on the ground will form little spikes that you may develop and collect. If you wish to grow a spike, you must feed it blood from other spikes. 

You must constantly feed your spike since leaving it without blood for too long will kill it. The idea is to find a balance between the time it takes to go out and gather blood and the number of feedings required to extend your spike tree. The game's main goal is to keep your spike tree alive. The usual gaming session only lasts a few minutes, but if you improve your timing, it may last up to an hour—although no story will untold much.
